What is the project?
The AUTO 4.0 project will develop open education resources (OERs) to support the upskilling of the automotive workforce in the new technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR4), thereby securing employability.
Through a range of activities, including focus groups and deep dive exercises, the project will seek to identify, in detail, what the key competencies will be for automotive companies and employees as they embrace the new technologies of IR4.
This information will provide the foundation for the development of a number of tools and training modules that will support the re-training of the skilled workforce. These tools will be made available for personal devices.
Aims & Objectives
The project aim is to maintain and strengthen competitiveness of the automotive sector and its workforce.
In particular, the project aims at developing access to education and qualification systems of less-qualified workers, increasing quality, distribution and accessibility to VET by the provision of integrated and effective guidance services.
